A few days ago, I had the opportunity to attend a meeting learning and listening to the story of two successful entrepreneurs, Joe Schmidt and Tom Lotrecchiano. Here are some notes that I took from this event:
1. “No, that’s not a good question”
– Brainstorming; what is a better question to ask? How can I improve what I REALLY want to ask? (example: How can I raise more capital? —> How can I raise more capital to help improve my products? —> How can I raise more capital to help improve my products so I can become part of the Inc 5000 in the next 5 years? —> etc…) Good questions get answers, great questions get results.
2. “Make Small Bets”
